After returning from a writers' workshop (teacher,Abigail Thomas) in Woodstock, New York, I composed this little piece on the piano when I got home. I was only in Woodstock for five days but by the end of those five days, I felt real trust and affection for my other workshop participants: all strangers once, and now, my friends.
