Avoca Mills sits atop a small hill at the end of a tiny Irish village.  The woolen mill has been in operation since the 1700s.  The beauty of Avoca is enchanting.  If there is a place inhabited by fairies, I do believe Avoca must be it.  I was delighted by everything Avoca.....the old mill itself, the flowers, the textiles, the hospitality extended to visitors,  the simple, delicious food....Avoca is a place where everyday life and objects are elevated to an art form.
